Playing And Fighting With Water

Published by Aydan Corkern in Culture and Society, 1 month 2 weeks 6 days 21 hours 57 minutes 59 seconds ago

Have you noticed that almost all of our wars throughout history have had something to do with fighting over water? From the beginning of time, we have had wars that were fought on water. In medieval times, if they weren't fighting on land, they would be sending their navy or just their band of sailors and their ships to go to this place to fire at them from their shores.

We also have water wars here: water balloon fights or two children with two different hoses at their own homes trying to knock over each other with their hoses. It may not be a true war, but it involves water and fighting. Or our firemen trying to teach new recruits the proper use of water hoses and what could happen in the event of them being knocked off of their feet. Water balloon fights used to be a popular summer time game that you would see a lot of kids doing to stay cool. This might have been just a couple of kids, or you might have one block fighting another block of kids. It was a lot of fun until it started to get out of hand with people getting hurt and cars or house windows getting broken. Then the parents made it stop. Now, usually the only water fights that we might have would be the throwing of water at someone who might be doing the dishes and making a mess of the kitchen with them cleaning up afterwards.

The war on our waters will probably go on until the end of time because some people just have to be fighting. They can't fight with themselves because that might be too easy, and they will need to fulfill their need for fighting with someone else. Our military just can't seem to leave things well enough alone. They always have to be doing something against someone or something.

They keep building bigger ships in which to haul more soldiers and equipment to be able to keep this fight going for as long as they can. These bigger ships would probably even be made to haul all kinds of long range missiles that would be able to reach land from the buoys of these ships so that the ship can stay far enough away from shore to protect their crews from getting shot or killed without some kind of warning first. The only really bad thing about this is that these countries might have the same warnings.
