Children's Daycares Are Up In Smoke

Published by Aydan Corkern in Family, 1 month 3 weeks 3 hours 36 minutes 48 seconds ago

If you have small children that are not of school age, then I feel sorry for you as the prices of day cares and learning centers must be on fire to your pocket books and budgets. If you are a single parent, you must be beside yourself as to the costs. I know that with divorce cases, the father is supposed to pay these charges, but with a dad who doesn't live up to his responsibilities, then you will get stuck with it.

With most couples where even both parents work, this price might not even be in their reach as they might have more than one child. Most of the time, these prices will be for only one child. Assuming the cheapest price of 95 dollars a week, this is almost 14 of one person's wage a week, so if they have more than one you can see that it's out of their reach. If the other children might be in school, then this might be okay but with all of the jobs going down the drain, the money might not be in the budget. Also, with the costs of putting your kids in school and being able to get all of their supplies and the money for trips that the schools are always asking, the parents to pay for this most likely will come to a halt, too, as the money just isn't going to be there.

I really don't see how young families can make ends meet, much less pay for all of the things that go with all the children that some of them have. It was hard to make ends meet when we had two children, so I don't see how they do it with more than two unless they have help from the government, which might not be able to help them for long right now.

With more people losing their jobs every day, the more people will be asking the city and state officials for help, and they might not have the needed money themselves. Our food banks will be running out of food and money sooner in the month, which will mean that if you need some food at the end of the month, there might not be any to have. Our soup kitchens will see a rise in their need of food products needed to feed more people. Our day cares and child learning centers will see a steady drop in their classes as well, as their attendance numbers will look like it's up in smoke.
