Exactly What Are The Fires Of Hell

For the majority of Christian believers the place they call hell is very real indeed. This is the place where the unsaved will descend into when they die. The fires of hell are literally that to Christians, an eternal fire that never ends where you will spend eternity if you do not know Jesus Christ as your personal savior. The ways to avoid this particular dilemma is a subject that is not necessarily agreed upon by all Christians.
Some Christians believe that once you die and have not ever had Christ in your life and truly believed in him then you will go to hell upon your death. They believe that there is no escape from the fire filled pit where Satan and his angels will be for eternity as well. The majority of Christians believe that hell was no specifically designed for humans, but for Satan and his angels. It is only that when you do not accept Christ as your Savior and or become baptized that you will be doomed to join Satan and his followers.
Some Christians believe that you can either pray or pay a loved one who is thought to be gone to hell after their death out. This is something that other Christians are adamant that can not be done. Many Christians believe that once you are sentenced to hell that is that and there you will remain. It does not paint a very pretty picture when you think about spending eternity in a place where fires continually consume you forever.
Going to hell is one good reason that Christians try to live as Christ like as they can even after they have been born again or baptized. When they have been saved and or baptized, they are grateful for the birth, death, and the coming return of Jesus Christ for saving them from this horrible end. It is not that they are still afraid of going to hell, but that God has provided them with a way to escape hell through his son Jesus. Christianity might appear to be a very complicated religion on the surface for those who are not Christian, but actually with all the differences in specifics of the religion, it all comes down to Jesus Christ. Every Christian does believe that he is the son of God and that one day soon he will return for those who have followed him and believed in him faithfully.
